Kabhi toh Sochoan Yaroan...

Its been 2 months since I have moved to the US. But somehow it looks like ages. Sometimes I wonder whether I should have moved to the US, long time back. But then I realise that I would have lost all the wonderful years that I would have spent home.
.
People say, one should move to the US at the young age, make quick money and then laze around for the rest of the life. But what people don’t realise is that with growing age your hunger for money and materialistic pleasures just keep increasing. Dil mange toh sirf More and More.
.
Things start in your childhood. Dad Bole padhai kaar, fir future Set. So I studied. Boss bola mann lagage kaam karr, fir Promotion set. So I sloughed. Duniyain boli Onsite settle hoan beta, Life Set. So I flew. Is set ke chakaarr main toh salaa life unset hoan jaati hain. This brings me to the point that - Why are we living our present for the future, that we aint even sure of seeing it.
.
Lucky are the beggar. He is one among the few who lives in the present. He lives just to survive the moment. Kuch expectations nahi na kuch goal setting. Bus Ajh ke liyain jiyaon.
.
Life as they say is all about choices. We need to make a choice and stand by it. However life sometimes doesn’t give you choices. They sound and feel like choices. But in reality they are someone elses decisions. You are just an actor in front of the camera. Its not you whose enacting the drama, it’s the director. The moment you don’t listen to him, you are shown the door. People would say that this in itself is a choice. But to me in reality, its just an incovenient decision thrown on you.
.
Sometimes I wonder how much Life has taught me in the last 28 years. And I still Ponder, how much is yet to go.......

Like the title track of the movie Ye Saali Zindagi goes, "Meri Jaan meri jaan, Meri Jaan mujhe bata, Tujhse karoon wafaa, Ya khud se karoon"

Nice post. Like it.
