Bedse Caves

I have returned to Pune after a gap of 17 months and realized that you have lost much more than then u ever imagined in this short frame of time. But as some intellectuals say “Never regret the past and just enjoy the present and plan the future”. And what better to start than to trek around Pune.

My first outing in Pune was Bedse Caves. The reason being that we all had lost out our touch (physically) with hardcore trekking and Bedse caves just seem a right destination for a light trek and a good start.

Route from Pune: Pune- Old Bombay Pune Highway-Kamshet –Bedse Village
Famous for: Two Caves and fewer crowds
Difficulty level: Easy- A 25 minutes walk from Bedse village.
Food: Not available in the village. One can arrange for their own or travel back to the HighwayTravel By: Bike and car
Other Places to visit: Phagana dam (Abt 6-8 kms from the caves)

The outing did not turn out to be anything extraordinary but was indeed a good start
